3 cups flour
1 cup salt
6 tsp cream of tarter (found in the spice aisle)
3 cups water
2 tablespoons oil (they recommend vegetable oil but I used canola)
Pour water and salt into large saucepan. Add oil, flour, cream of tarter and then food coloring. Cook for about five minutes. Make sure to keep mixing it. Take it out of the pan and knead the dough for a few minutes.
This play-doh will last up to 3 months if kept sealed. I used a ziploc bag and an airtight container to ensure the freshness of our new play-doh.
