Mini Photo Workshop

Last night I headed over to my good friend's house, Lindsay Webster. Lindsay is an amazing photographer (Lindsay Brooke Photography) and was gracious enough to host a mini workshop for some of us to learn more about photography. It was so much fun! My brain hurts today though - I had no idea there was so much to learn about photography. We played around with white balance...

Lindsay had a friend come and model for us. Here are two of my favorite shots that I took with my tiny little Canon Powershot (I think I need a Canon Rebel now!)

A little blurry but, hey that's how you learn. It was more of a time of just figuring out how to use our cameras. There are so many cool things to know. Practice makes perfect so that is what we did - we practiced:) Lindsay also had her daughter Bentley model for us but she was so busy and we lost light so quickly I never got a good shot of her. She cracks me up.
 There's Lindsay being our teacher!

It was a great night of appetizers, wine, learning and picture taking. Thanks Lindsay for hosting such a great night out:)
