Hit or Miss

I have been so behind on blogging lately. I have about 10 different things I would love to blog about but, having three little boys just doesn't make it possible for me to get it all done. I love being a mom to my boys and I wouldn't trade it for anything but, I do look forward to the days when I don't have to worry about Pearce playing in the toilet or Caed throwing major tantrums or Noah just plain ignoring his mom when I ask him to do something (ok, so I think that's partly just a guy thing and may never end.)  So, I am going to post a brief summary of what life has been like lately. Here some pics of our busy life right now.
Pearce and his head injuries and colds and a double ear infection - ugh!

Celebrating Caed's 4 1/2 birthday at Preschool and volunteering at the school for Enrichment day.

My father-in-laws 70th birthday party! All of my hubby's siblings, spouses and kiddos were in town.
It was a blast but we are tired from a busy week.

Grandpa and Grandma with their 12 grandkids!
 Our crazy and fun family.
A Brooke sandwich - this is my wonderful 16 year old niece and my sweet sister-in-law, Traci.

Brilliant Side Table

One of my favorite blogs is iheartorganizing - Jen is amazing! So many awesome ideas and WOW, is she organized. I just loved one of her recent posts about creating a side table for her home, so, I thought I would share it with you. LOVE IT!

She liked the look of this but needed some height!

So, she added another top onto the bottom legs and viola - perfect height for a side table.

I'm Invisible

This our cat Benton. Many of our friends don't even know we have two cats. Benton rarely comes out and when he is around he pretends you can't see him. He isn't the brightest cat ever but, he is sweet. This is where I found him the other day. He finds a spot and hides there and just hopes that the boys don't see him or touch him. What a stressful way to live your life. It's hard being a cat in the Chamberlain house.

Public House Grill

On our last night in Port Townsend we decided to go out for dinner. I checked on TripAdvisor to get the low down on what restaurants had good ratings and were considered kid-friendly. We decided on Public House Grill. Todd and I loved the atmosphere. Great decor, yummy food, and friendly service. It was a great night! We even got complimented on how well our 3 boys behaved by an older couple sitting by us. I would love to open a restaurant like this in South Ttown - we are in need of a great hangout in the southend.

Valentine's for Boys

I'm not a big fan of all the girly Valentine cards out there and I'm not too excited about the cheap ones you can buy at the store - they look all the same to me. This year I let my boys make the choice of what they wanted. Mommy could make them or they could buy the same ole' Star Wars or Cars cards. They wanted me to make them so... after much printing and cutting this is what we ended up with, thanks to Pinterest!

Photo "Niche"

It seems as though every photographer has a "niche" something that they enjoy taking beautiful pictures of. I think I have found mine. Babies and kids! I just love them. Every time I take a picture of a baby or child I am reminded of God's love for us. Kids are carefree and full of life, they have amazing faith and sweet joy and that's exactly how we should live life. Carefree, full of life, faith and joy because of what Jesus has already done. Here are some pictures I have taken of babies and kids since the purchase of my new camera in November...

Boys + Adventure

We took a weekend trip to Port Townsend and explored Fort Worden. A boys dream come true! Dark hallways and rooms to explore with a flashlight, a beautiful sandy beach and space to run, run, run. Boys desire adventure, it is the way God created them. I love my boys!
